Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your account and associated data.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be removed from our systems.
What Happens When You Delete?
- Your profile and personal information will be permanently removed
- Ride history and transaction records will be deleted
- Reviews and ratings will be anonymized
- Association memberships will be terminated
- You will not be able to recover any data
Steps to Delete Your Account

Open the Ikhumbi App
Launch the app on your mobile device.

Go to Settings
Tap on your profile icon and navigate to Settings.

Select "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the bottom and tap "Delete Account."

Confirm Deletion
Enter your password and confirm you understand the consequences.
Alternative: Request Deletion by Email
If you prefer, you can request account deletion by emailing us:
Data Retention After Deletion
- Immediate: Your profile becomes inaccessible
- 7 Days: Data is scheduled for permanent deletion
- Anonymized: Some aggregated statistics may be retained for analytics (no personal identifiers)
